  • Year 11 Art Students visit The Tate Gallery

    The annual year 11 GCSE Art trip was a huge success, seeing over 50 students, travel to London in search of first hand original artwork. 

    They first visited the Tate Modern, which contains a huge range of contemporary artwork from all the top international and British artists.

  • World Challenge Fundraising Football Tournament

    A big well done to the year 7 and 8 students who took part in the World Challenge fundraising football tournament this January.

    It was very cold but they all tried hard, organised themselves brilliantly and all games were played with excellent sportsmanship. It all made for a great atmosphere.

  • Highdown PTA 'Gig and Jig' Night

    On Friday 4 March 2016, the Highdown PTA hosted a ‘gig and jig’ in the old barn.  A fantastic band including parents and teachers played a great set that got everyone dancing from the first song!  The fully stocked bar kept everyone refreshed throughout a very enjoyable evening.  All profits from the evening go to the PTA, who will donate money towards equipment and events for the school and students. A collection was also held for Touraid.
