Week A

At Highdown School and Sixth Form Centre, students are encouraged to adopt and develop an ethic of excellence in all that they do, whether that is written work, practical work or in their spoken work. 'An ethic of excellence', a term coined by American psychologist Ron Berger, is about students working hard to produce work that is of the highest standard and quality and is about working hard to make their work even better by responding to feedback. We aspire for all our students to achieve excellence and secure mastery in their many subjects.

Have you got an 'ethic of excellence'?
