Highdown School
and Sixth Form Centre

Highdown School and Sixth Form has been granted funding by National College of Teaching and Learning to deliver Teacher Subject Specialism Training (TSST) in Secondary Mathematics. The programmes will run from November 2017 to July 2018.

Training comprises of 3 full one day conferences and 6 further afternoon subject knowledge and pedagogy based training sessions through the academic year. Furthermore, each participant will have a mentor and will receive regular support.

Important dates for face to face training:

Conference Days [9.30am-2.30pm]: all at Highdown School on the following dates -

Conference Day One: Friday 17th November

Conference Day Two: Provisionally Friday 13th March

Conference Day Three: Provisionally Friday 6th July

 

Afternoon professional learning sessions [2.30-4pm]: all at Highdown School on the following dates -

Afternoon One: Thursday 14th December 2017

Afternoon Two: Thursday 25th January 2018

Afternoon Three: Thursday 22nd February 2018

Afternoon Four: Thursday 3rd May 2018

Afternoon Five: Thursday 24th May 2018

Afternoon Six: Thursday 14th June 2018
