A Level Press Release Statement

Highdown School and Sixth Form Centre is delighted to announce a very successful year for their A level students.  Our outstanding 6th form provision goes from strength to strength. Highdown’s performance at A level is in the top 10% of all providers nationally. It is the best performing non selective 6th form locally.

Over 60% of grades are at A*/B level up by 6% points on last year. There has been another increase in the A and A* grades this year which reflects the continued emphasis teachers given to stretching the students at the top end with just under a third of entries at this incredible level, which when seen against the National picture of increased challenge is a great result and continues our improvements year on year.
