Week A

UKESF - Girls into Electronics

Ticket registration is open for the Girls into Electronics events

Girls into Electronics is a series of non-residential events that are being hosted by leading universities across the UK this summer. The events are ideal for girls in Year 11, 12 or 13, thinking about studying Electronics, Computer Science or Engineering.

Participants will get the chance to hear from female staff and students at the university, and from female graduates working in the Electronics industry, have a tour of the university’s facilities, and also get an introduction to microcontrollers. They can keep the microcontroller kit and get on-line support to complete a range of practical experiments.

If you are an individual student interested in attending, please use the link here to find the relevant event, and click through to reserve your place. The events are sponsored by Apple with the exception of a small booking fee of £20 per student. As a charity, we want our courses to be accessible to all, so if the booking fee is a barrier, or if you need support for travel costs, please get in touch before booking, via info@ukesf.org.

Tickets are limited, and we expect there to be a high demand for places.

Many thanks,
