Having some school experience is highly beneficial if you are considering a career as a teacher: it allows you to see the nature of the role and ensure that it is right for you before you apply or undertake your training. It also allows you to visit the school you might be training in to see if it is it the school you might be training in to see if it the right fit for you.
To support potential applicants and gain this invaluable experience, GLF Teacher Training offers one-day School Experience visits to a selection of schools within our partnership - even before you have applied. These experience days are only open to eligible candidates thinking about starting teacher training programmes in September 2026.
